How will I be shaped if I go over my Off-Peak Data block? As of 25/2/2009 we shape peak and off-peak times individually with the peak data backing up off-peak data. So if you use all your off-peak you will continue to remain unshaped during off-peak as long as you have peak data.
Additionally, we recommend that you read our Shaping FAQ. Back to top |

How do I know how much data I've used?We have three usage notifications, a daily report, a 80% warning and a 100% warning. Each of these have been updated to show your off-peak data usage. You can therefore potentially receive 2 80%/100% warnings as you pass both levels for peak and off-peak. Back to top |

I have just purchased an off-peak data block. How have I used XGb already? No matter whether you have off-peak data allocations or not, we record data that you used during the relevant period against peak or off-peak accordingly. If you only have peak data, we just take the sum of both “buckets” to form your total data usage. When you buy an off-peak data block mid month we give you a little bonus, in that we remove the off-peak data that was previous allocated to your peak data quota and allocated it to off-peak. So whilst it appears that you may have been incorrectly allocated XGb of off-peak data (even though you just purchased the block), you will see that your peak data would be reduced by this same amount.
